We partnered with long-standing client and landscaping specialist Ashlea Limited to supply a range of plants and trees to the landscaped gardens within an exclusive retirement village in Cheshire.
Gifford Lea, located in the Cheshire village of Tattenhall, is an exclusive retirement village in one of the UK’s most coveted postcodes. The complex boasts an on-site spa, bistro, library, chauffeur service and beauty salon.
For this project, it was essential that the landscaped gardens embodied the sophistication of the modern apartment development and created a serene escape for residents and guests to enjoy within the village.
Working alongside Ashlea Limited to bring the vision to life, we supplied a variety of trees and shrubs, as well as a range of herbaceous and hedging plants.
The trees we provided included five each of Acer campestre, Crataegus crus-galli and Carpinus betulus frans fontaine, four Prunus taihaku and three Tilia cordata greenspire.
We also supplied various species of geranium, in addition to more than 260 Hypericum ‘Hidcote’ and around 200 Sarcococca winter gem boxwood shrubs.
Hedging plants included 400 Fagus sylvatica while Digitalis purpurea, Bergenia silberlicht and Siberian iris white swirl were among the hundreds of herbaceous plants in the inventory.
The final result was a lovely, tranquil garden where residents and guests can sit, walk, and enjoy their surroundings. In keeping with Ashlea Limited’s values of quality and attention to detail, the trees and plants brought the beautifully landscaped gardens to life.
