🚚 Delivery Information
Standard Delivery
- Free delivery on all orders over £1,750 (using our own transport)
- A £95 delivery charge may apply to orders between £500 – £1,750
- Orders below £500 are collection only
📍 Delivery Restrictions
We do not regularly deliver to the following postcode areas:
AB, BT, EX, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KW, KE1–KE3, PA, PH, PL, PO30–41, SA, TR, TQ, ZE
👉 Please speak to your Account Manager to discuss delivery options for these locations.
🚛 Vehicle Types
- Delivery estimates are based on articulated lorry access
- Requests for rigid vehicles will be quoted separately
⚠️ Please note:
Rigid vehicles may take longer to arrange due to high demand.

⏱️ Delivery Timescales
- A minimum of 10–14 working days’ notice is required for:
- All deliveries
- Part call-offs
📦 Collection
- Orders can be collected free of charge
⚠️ Important Delivery Requirements
- Adequate unloading facilities must be provided on site
- Customers are responsible for providing mechanical offloading and handling equipment
Johnsons of Whixley accepts no liability for damaged plants where suitable offloading facilities are not available.
🛠️ Bespoke Requirements
- Bespoke delivery requirements can be arranged at additional cost
- Please speak to your Account Manager to discuss your needs
⛽ Temporary Fuel Surcharge (April 2026)
At Johnsons Nurseries, we remain committed to delivering the high standards of quality and reliability our customers expect.
Due to a 35% increase in fuel costs since early March, we have introduced a temporary adjustment to our delivery charges.
- A 3% fuel surcharge will apply to all deliveries
- Effective from Monday, 20th April
This surcharge is in place solely to help offset increased transportation costs while maintaining our service standards.
We are closely monitoring the situation and will remove the surcharge as soon as fuel prices stabilise.
