🕓Hours: 39 hours per week (8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am – 3:30pm on Fridays, but flexibility required)

💷 Salary: £30,000 per annum

About us

Johnsons Nurseries is a three-generation family business located in North Yorkshire, equidistant between York and Harrogate, with 100 years’ experience in growing and supplying millions of trees, shrubs and plants to UK-wide planting schemes each year.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our small, friendly and busy accounts team. This role is primarily a sales ledger and credit control role, with some additional purchase ledger responsibilities.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Post receipts against sales ledger balances, ensuring customer debt records are up to date and accurate.
  • Communicate with customers by telephone, statement, email or letter in order to collect outstanding debt.
  • Participate in the management of customer credit limits.
  • Assess up and coming customer deliveries with reference to agreed terms and credit insurance.
  • Process purchase invoices through the company’s SAP computer system.
