March sees us cross over from winter to spring, with spring bringing with it many more flowering varieties from Bergenia to Vincas providing exciting spring colour as we see bees starting to emerge and birds making a return from migration. Bergenia’s large leathery leaves make attractive ground cover, while its flowers provide an early source of pollen for bees and other pollinating insects.
