🕓Hours: 39 hours per week (8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 08:00am – 15:30pm on Friday; flexibility is required and you will be on a rota to work Saturdays)

Johnsons Nurseries is a three-generation family business located in North Yorkshire, equidistant between York and Harrogate, with 100 years’ experience in growing and supplying millions of trees, shrubs, and plants to UK-wide planting schemes each year.

You’ll gain hands-on experience working with a wide variety of plants, from trees and shrubs to speciality species, all while supporting customers ranging from sole traders and small businesses to large corporate clients. Your main responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling sales, quotes, orders, telesales, refunds, and complaints.
  • Deal with incoming calls and emails promptly.
  • Provide sales quotations in the agreed format to customers in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following health and safety regulations and reporting issues promptly.

What we are looking for:

  • Customer-focused, with excellent communication skills to liaise with a wide range of people.
  • Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with an ability to use IT systems such as Microsoft Office.
